  Front Desk Clerk / Night Front Desk Clerk
   

As a front desk clerk, you must be able answer multi-line phones, make reservations, answer questions from guest as well as assist them with any problems during their stay, and check guests in/out of the hotel.  You must be able to multitask and solve problems without supervision.

Previous hotel and cash handling experience preferred.  Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and effective oral & written communication skills required.  Must have strong problem solving and trouble shooting experience

  Maintenance Worker
   

We are currently looking for a maintenance person to assist with maintaining the hotel & conference facilities.  Includes painting and other minor maintenance and repairs.  The qualified candidate will have some experience in maintenance and excellent customer skills.  This is a part time, M-F position.Starting wage $9/hour

CONFERENCE OPERATIONS
  Event Set Up Staff
   

Job Summary
Event setup staff is responsible for the set up, break down, A/V equipment, and general presentation of meeting and conference spaces.  Setup staff is responsible for ensuring complete guest satisfaction by anticipating guest needs and fulfilling their requests.  This is a part time position. 

Qualifications
Successful applicants will be detail oriented, self-motivated, professional, and technology adept.  Must have experience in customer service, problem solving, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally.  Applicants must have the ability to lift 50lbs. and move tables and chairs.  Knowledge of room setup, audio visual equipment, and catering experience is preferred.  Applicants must have a valid driver license.  Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions outlined below.

Essential Functions

  1. Set up and break down of rooms/buildings for conference groups.
  2. Responsible for audio visual equipment set up, storage, inventory, and demonstration of use to guests.
  3. Responsible for catering set up, presentation, and refreshing breaks.  Must obtain food handlers permit at expense of hotel.
  4. Lock and unlock buildings for conference groups.
  5. Provide customer service to all conference guests and employees.
  6. Communicate appropriate maintenance and housekeeping needs to supervisor.
  7. Use property management software (EMS) to obtain group details (ie. room set up, catering, arrival & departure times, etc.).
  8. Serve as contact/troubleshooter for conferencing groups.
  9. Attend weekly staff meetings.
  10. Work with conference coordinators to ensure guest satisfaction.
  11. Take inventory and organize catering items, A/V equipment, storage areas, and maintain facilities.
  12. Making and posting of event signs on campus
  13. Other duties as assigned

Compensation
Starting wage $9/hour
